Donna Brockenbrough-Jordan is the Founder and CEO of Impacting Lives for Change, Inc.

She was raised in Philadelphia and graduated from George Washington Carver High School for Engineering and Science. She obtained her BA Degree from Temple University, an Early Childhood Degree, an ECE and Principal Certification, an M.Ed. in Administration from Cheyney University, and a Doctorate of Divinity from International Christian University, and her Minister License from Restored Paths Ministries.

After becoming a teacher and being a single mom to a black male, Donna confronted circumstances that compelled her and gave her a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of young men. So in 2017, she started Impacting Lives for Change, Inc., a non-profit organization created to support black males in their educational journey.

Amir Brockenbrough is the Vice-President of Impacting Lives for Change Foundation.

Amir observed the disparities and available resources between various community school districts as a precocious child. While attending college at The University of Pittsburgh, Amir focused on his passion, science, which turned into a chemistry degree.

Now almost seven years after graduation, Amir has worked in various fields. Before entering the medical field, working in the radiology department of one of America’s oldest Children’s Hospitals, Amir desired to help others. He realized this passion most when he stepped into his role as a scientist. This experience was achieved as he spent the last four years as a pharmaceutical and cancer research scientist. Amir hopes to continue to make an impact every day, even on a global level.

Hytolia Branch is the Secretary for Impacting Lives For Change (ILFC).

Hytolia was born and raised in Philadelphia. She attended Temple University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and later received a certification in Middle Years Mathematics.

Proceeding with her academic career, Hytolia headed directly into the classroom. For more than 20 years, she has taught middle years Mathematics in the School District of Philadelphia.

She has earned several distinctions throughout her teaching career, such as the Teacher As Hero Award from the National Liberty Museum and the prestigious Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award.

Hytolia’s dedication to the service of others extends far beyond the walls of her classroom. She is a faithful member of her church which is located in North Philadelphia, serving as the church’s Secretary. At the church, she is also the president of the Rev. Kenny L. Branch II Educational Scholarship Fund, so named after her late father. In addition, Hytolia dedicates her time to the church’s Food Ministry, often traveling long distances outside the city to help coordinate food distribution to community members in need.

Through her school work and church, she has personally mentored many youth throughout their middle, and high school and years beyond. Now through ILFC, joining in 2022, Hytolia will continue her passion and support of underserved African American young males who are college-bound and aspiring for higher education throughout the city of Philadelphia.

Jeffrey Brockenbrough Sr.

I am currently retired after having worked for The
Philadelphia Prison System for more than 22 yrs. During my time there, I climbed the ladder to reach the rank of Correctional Captain. I took the opportunity to further my education and obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice, MBA/Management, and a Six Sigma Greenbelt. I have used my spiritual and academic learning to enhance my understanding of people. As I seek ways to increase my volunteerism, I try to share my gifts in ways that will best increase social awareness and address the needs of our communities.
